Ava Sakamoto is a printmaker, illustrator, and comic artist based in the Bay Area and Boston.

They are currently studying at Tufts University - on the premed track, they are working towards a BA in Community Health and a BFA in Studio Art.

Through their artwork, they celebrate all things fun and intimate, while exploring the intersection of art and science. Leaning into laughter, love, fantasy and dreams, they aim to expand upon notions of gender, sexuality, race, and belonging through the lens of Asian American identity.

In their free time, they enjoy reading sapphic romance novels, online shopping, and supporting the kpop girl group LOONA ♡
